26.True Harambee Park Cheer Station - Gansett Run Club x Wave Runners Run Crew
26.True Marathon Cheer Station
On Saturday, April 18, the streets of Roxbury, Dorchester, and Jamaica Plain will come alive for the 26.True Marathon - a full marathon and half marathon celebration of Boston’s heart, soul, and culture.
The course is built on a looped format. The half marathon is one loop. The full marathon is two. That means runners don’t just pass through once - they come back through again, and again.
It’s more than just a race. It’s a movement grounded in representation, pride, and community.
And we’re not just running it - we’re going all in to cheer.
Gansett Run Club and Wave Runners Run Crew are teaming up to host an official cheer station and water stop at Harambee Park in Dorchester, right at Mile 7.8 and Mile 20.9.
This is the spot where runners Spin the Block.
Half marathon runners will come through twice. Full marathon runners will come through four times. It turns this stretch into one of the most important points on the course - a place where energy matters, where noise matters, where people can change someone’s day.
We’ve got nearly 30 runners from our crews on the course, and hundreds more taking on the distance.
Let’s show them what real support looks like.
