Denim On. Stigma Off.
Join us on Friday, May 22 at 6 PM at Ray Treacy Track at Providence College for the ASICS Blue Jean Mile. It is a one-of-a-kind event where speed meets style for a purpose that matters.
In 2020, ASICS elite athlete Johnny Gregorek ran a World Record mile in blue jeans to raise awareness for mental health. That effort sparked a movement. Now ASICS is continuing that mission, inviting runners everywhere to participate in the largest Blue Jean Mile yet, including this in-person event in Providence.
Built on the belief of A Sound Mind in a Sound Body, ASICS is committed to supporting mental health. Gansett Run Club is proud to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness Rhode Island Chapter, NAMI-RI. During registration, participants can donate directly to NAMI-RI and support a cause that touches all of us.
Mental health impacts everyone. By showing up, running in jeans, and standing together, we help break stigma and start real conversations.
